The Commons

Located in the heart of downtown Detroit, this adaptive reuse project transforms an existing red-brick building into a vibrant café, study space, and art gallery. By honoring the building’s original architectural features—exposed brick, steel, and historic charm—the space creates a warm, inspiring environment for students and the surrounding school community. Designed to foster creative expression, collaboration, and focus, it serves as a hub for connection, culture, and academic life.
